Fatal Accidents
Cuming & Gillespie has commenced a class action and individual test cases on behalf of people who lost loved ones in accidents prior to 2004. The claim alleges that individuals were denied compensation because of age or marital status and therefore were subject to discrimination contrary to the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms. The claim seeks to have those individuals recognized as eligible claimants and have them compensated for their loss.
