Through the work we do, representing catastrophically injured individuals, we at Cuming & Gillespie LLP are very cognizant of the challenges faced by those with disabilities in our communities. For that reason, we are extremely proud to support the Chair-Leaders Enabling Access event, which was put on May 2, 2014, by the Canadian Paraplegic Association (Alberta), the Calgary Health Trust, and the Tertiary Neuro Rehabilitation Program at the Foothills Medical Centre. The purpose of the event is to promote barrier-free access and more inclusive communities and workplaces for those who suffer from spinal cord injuries and other disabilities. The Chair-Leaders organizing committee successfully met its goal of informing, entertaining and providing disability awareness through the event and Cuming & Gillespie LLP are very proud to have been able to contribute to the event.
