Cuming & Gillespie File Lawsuit for Calgary Toddler

Posted in: Updates // Written on behalf of Cuming & Gillespie

Cuming & Gillespie has filed a claim on behalf of a now 4-year old girl for the serious personal injuries she sustained at only 2 ½ years old when she fell five-stories to the ground when the screen gave way in the Calgary apartment building where she and her family resided.  It is alleged that the owners of the Calgary condo complex and a renovation company hired to replace the windows in the apartment building are to blame for the improper installation of the windows, which led to the fall.  Unfortunately, as a result of the fall, our client is left with serious injuries, including severe brain injury, the prognosis of which is currently unclear.  We intend to ensure that our client receives fair compensation for her injuries and the effect they will have on her life going forward.

Kevin Martin of the Calgary Sun is following the story and published this article in relation to the claim.
