Cuming & Gillespie are proud to confirm that claims on behalf of three Oilfield workers from northern Alberta were resolved on the eve of Trial in a very favourable result. The Defendants in the Action had claimed that the Defendant driver suffered an inevitable heart attack which led to the collision. Through the litigation process, Cuming & Gillespie were able to establish the odds of this occurring were less than 1 in 25 million, and on that basis the matter resolved prior to proceeding to Trial. Our best wishes go out to our clients and the families of the drivers involved in the collision.
