Jamie was a founding Member of the firm, having practiced law here from 1995 – 2021.

His practice consisted of serious personal injury claims, industrial incidents, class actions, slip and fall injuries and medical negligence claims.

Since 2009, Jamie was continuously listed in the Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory as a Leading Practitioner in Alberta in Personal Injury and was also repeatedly listed in Best Lawyers in Canada® in personal injury and class actions. Both honours were voted by fellow Canadian lawyers. Jamie was also recognized as Personal Injury Litigation Lawyer of the Year by Best Lawyers in Canada and received the President’s Award from the Alberta Civil Trial Lawyers Association for distinguished contributions to the profession, community, and advancement of the law.

Jamie was successful in thousands of cases both outside and within our Court process. Highlights of his resolved cases include involvement as Plaintiff’s counsel and co-counsel in trials with awards over 1.5 million dollars, certifying the first class action in Alberta, and successfully resolving the first national class action based in Alberta.

Injured persons and their families relied on Jamie to help them navigate the legal system.
